YMMV / Warhammer: Dark Omen

• Awesome Music: The thundering battle theme from Shadow of the Horned Rat.
• Ensemble Dark Horse: Commander Morgan Bernhardt only appears in Shadow of the Horned Rat and Dark Omen but he's a pretty popular character in the Warhammer Fantasy franchise for being a no-nonsense leader and a great Deadpan Snarker. It is heavily implied that Franz Lohner from The End Times: Vermintide is Morgan as a Retired Badass.
• Even Better Sequel: Most fans agree that Dark Omen has aged better than Shadow of the Horned Rat.
• Game-Breaker: Level your Bright Wizard enough and give him the two good wizarding items and he turns into an unholy terror. Crimson Bands+Flamestorm is especially nasty. In multiplayer its considered poor form take more than 1 of them, players who do tend to get a ostracized from the community.
• Song Association: Nowadays the enemy ambush theme (simply called Combat) from Shadow of the Horned Rat is widely known as "The Heavy Is Dead" theme thanks to Antoine Delak's video.
