- Broken Base: Players are divided on whether or not the Founding Program is a good decision, especially after Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade used the same program (in which many of what was promised has yet to be implemented in that game).
- Funny Moments: Even in this game, there are on a few occasions that are worth a laugh.
- During Chapter 3 of The Martyr story-line, the player Inquisitor is guided to the location of Uther Tiberius laboratory onboard the ship. So the Inquisitor contacts Tech-Priest Omicron Arkh, to announce that he/she has arrived at the location and get further guidance. Omicron disagrees...
Omicron Arkh: Incorrect. You have arrived outside of the research laboratorium.
Player Inquisitor: (extremely annoyed) By the Emperor. You are the most pedantic member of my retinue I've ever dealt with. - Growing the Beard: June 2019's 2.0 update saw the game gain a massive jump in approval and satisfaction due to a lot of bug fixes, rebalancing, and new additions to the game as a whole.
- Obvious Beta: The game is riddled with bugs, glitches and optimization issues. Furthermore, text dialogue and voicelines either don't fit or are missing.
- Scrappy Mechanic: The fact that the game is always online, even when you're only playing single-player. If you lose connection to the servers, or they go down for whatever reason, your only recourse is to, well, eat shit.
