  • Audience-Alienating Premise: A Rape and Revenge story presented as a Black Comedy did not win a lot of audience members over, especially since its one and only trailer didn't mention that aspect of the story at all (and therefore didn't let them know that it would not be Black Comedy Rape).
  • He Really Can Act: Brian O'Halloran made a name for himself as one of the few professional actors in Clerks, but proves that he's a damn fine actor on his own when Will goes insane.
  • Nightmare Fuel: Everything involving Will's rape!
    • The rape itself.
    • His mental breakdown immediately after.
    • His blackmail.
