• Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: While spying on the planet Acirema, 1359 sees members of two rival gangs in elaborate costumes (Pia Zadora and Jermaine Jackson) falling in love through an elaborate song and dance routine while the gangs fight. Bizarrely, 1359 rejects that planet as the source of rock and roll, even though the song used is featured again late in the movie, and decides to search Planet Earth instead. None of this is ever mentioned again, and 1359 never seems to notice that Dee Dee looks just like the woman from the gang.
