• Disappointing Last Level: The 4th and final chapter was regarded as underwhelming to many, mainly due to being genderlocked when its source material wasn't and the lack of a threesome option between Lewyn and Astoria.
• Foe Yay Shipping: The whole point of this book is to showcase What If? scenarios that feature you romancing a variety of villains from the Choices franchise.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: Not the book's concept, but a good amount of players have voiced that they feel it was wasted potential to not include Gaius Augustine from "Bloodbound" or Cecile Contreras from "Perfect Match" in this book, as players have voiced their attraction to them for years and the main characters of those respective series have noticeable Ship Tease with these villains. Many would've preferred them over relatively new villains like The Ash Empress, Radiance, and the Coven Leaders.
