• Adorkable: For all the power and control he projects most of the time, prepare for adorable awkwardness when Duke is out of his element. The first time the heroine sees him flustered in his route, he's thrown off his game by his first exposure to boba, so much so that he follows her up to her apartment rather than wait in the boba shop and drink the unfamiliar beverage by himself.
• Awesome Music:
  • The action music.
  • Both romance tracks are beautifully sweeping.
• I Knew It!: Based on hints dropped in other routes, fans speculated that Juliette was related to Optimus top brass long before it was confirmed in her first season.
• Memetic Mutation:
  • Renzei's ass.^Explanation Renzei's debut CG featured him in a back view which made it very clear how form-fitted his Falcon suit is. The fandom immediately exploded with commentary, only further encouraged by Renzei's flirtatious behavior and the in-app promotional banner featuring part of the same CG and the tagline "See something you like?"
    • The fan fervor over Renzei's butt was so widespread that Lovestruck themselves got in on the fun and created another meme in the process: thanks to the emojis used in tweets and mobile push notifications regarding the character, Renzei is now permanently associated with knives and peaches.
  • Bat route when.^Explanation Despite being a core member of the main team, there is no news on when, or even if, Bat will get a route. While that was somewhat understandable initially due to Bat being a Voice with an Internet Connection, Bat's later appearance in person (albeit in a full-body suit) caused this movement to increase. The later reveal of her true identity (and gender) caused some to drop off the bandwagon, but also got many more to hop on.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: The Reveal in Duke's fourth season that his parents are alive, but have had their memories of him erased is robbed of most of its impact by the fact that the characters in question are treated as little more than cardboard cutouts without sprites, names, or any dialogue. Their appearances are relegated to a couple of background mentions and neither Duke nor Monarch is ever shown directly interacting with them, robbing their situation of its pathos and making it difficult for the reader to connect with Duke's emotional reactions throughout the season.
