• Alternate Character Interpretation: Ben consistently underestimates the intelligence of the Shaw family. But, there are many moments when they seem to be carrying the Idiot Ball. Were some or all of them playing dumb to either troll or manipulate Ben? Ty in particular seems amazingly oblivious when Ben tries to explain he wasn't dating Abilene. Does he just want a journalist to help him investigate the death?
• He Really Can Act: Ashton Kutcher is still often dismissed as a lightweight, but he shines as the spacily charismatic record producer and the film's villain Quentin Sellers.
• Narrowed It Down to the Guy I Recognize: There's really no reason why Ashton Kutcher or his character would be in the film if he didn't do it.
