YMMV / Unbeatable Banzuke

• Ensemble Dark Horse: Similar to Ninja Warrior it's pretty popular among G4's current crop of shows. Not as popular mind, but still, it's up there.
• Funny Moments:
  • Shinya Tachikawa, a professional clown, tries Like a Pierrot IV, a unicycle challenge. He falls at the first turn, gets up, and walks away while juggling pins.
  Announcer: He may have gone off course, but what a finish!
  • Ahihiro Hamanaka and Shoko Takashima, a doctor and nurse, take on Daruma 7. Every time the doctor makes a successful hit, the nurse cheers loudly and the announcer takes notice of it every time. The best part is when the Daruma topples, the nurse rushes over to call the doctor and he takes out his stethoscope on the Daruma.
  Announcer: What is she doing? There's nothing more to be done for him!
• Harsher in Hindsight: There were actually several minor injuries that occurred throughout the show's run, such as an occasion where a competitor in Quick Muscle bit his lips hard enough to bleed, along with several miscellaneous wipeouts that were quite spectacular to see... but come knowledge of the two injuries during the Power Island event, and it can be a bit harder to watch knowing that failure to solve these minor issues would lead to the show's downfall. It gets even worse with Masato Inui's thoughts on the show in hindsight, as according to him safety was never considered as a factor during production, meaning that it was inevitable than an accident would occur.
• Heartwarming Moments: Naomi and Tatsuya Gunzi, a mother and her seven-year-old son, tried out for Athletic Love, a course where two people stand on an unstable bridge and both of them must make it to the platform in the middle in sixty seconds. They managed to beat the course with one second left. Considering the course's meaning, it was almost as a mother-son relationship powered them to beat it.
