• Fan Nickname:
  • One interpretation of the name "XG" is that they are the main character's initials, with "Xavier Grand" being one popular suggested full name.
  • Spectreon, named " RC" in-game, was sometimes referred to as "Raveeon" (alternatively spelled "Raveon") due to the constantly changing colors of his rings. "Neon" was also sometimes used, albeit more rarely.
  • AQ??HHHHGF the Porygon2 was called "Hackerbot" by some players, after it caused the game to crash multiple times due to its Download ability.
  • UUZh the Anchclaw had his name largely interpreted as "Uzo".
  • Galactunia was named "LXNOO " in-game, which several players read as "Lexi".
  • Olympace was originally received in a trade and didn't have an in-game nickname; thus players derived the name "Sheila" from its species name as a Shelgon, which stuck after she evolved.
  • mmmoooy z the Seviper usually had her name read either as "Moy Z" or "Mommy Z".

• Funny Moments:
  • One NPC who earlier gave XG his Togepi offered to trade it for his Bonsly after it was purified. Due to Bonsly being the only Pokémon from Generation IV to be usable in the entire game (and not being available outside of Battle Bingo in XD), it is coded internally as #387 instead of its usual #438, thus coming right after the last Pokémon of Generation III. Because of this quirk, not only was its overlay sprite broken, but Turtwig badges were distributed upon it obtention instead of Bonsly badges.
  • After showing XG how to catch wild Pokémon at Poké Spots, Duking asked him to catch three Pokémon for him. One of these Pokémon was Aerodactyl, which XG managed to catch and brought to him, receiving a Dratini in exchange... which itself was another Pokémon that Duking wanted, thus XG proceeded to trade him back his own Dratini for a Bagon.

• Heartwarming Moments: As is tradition during Orre runs, players quickly rushed towards the nearest TV to watch the news over and over... only for part of the chat to fight back due to the game stating that the sound of the TV disturbed the nearby Psyduck.

• Memetic Mutation:
  • Two moms^Explanation Early on in the run, there was some confusion as players were tasked with finding XG's mother, Lily, but couldn't seem to locate her, and at some point confused the Lab's nurse for her. When realizing their mistake, the Voices settled on the idea that XG actually had two moms, one being Lily and the other being the nurse.
  • #BringBackUzo^Explanation A hashtag clamoring for the return of UUZh, aka "Uzo", an Anchorab that spent a reasonable amount of time on the team but was later deposited in favor of a stronger, more viable Pokémon.
  • #BringBackLexi^Explanation Similar to the #BringBackUzo hashtag, except this time aimed at "LXNOO " the Galactunia, another well-liked member of the team that was replaced for similar reasons.
