• Fan Nickname:
  • Kr 's name caused a lot of debate early in the run. The two that stuck out the most being "Kris" and "Karma"
  • Q♀♂♀r wa often called "Queer" by the chat, but "Quincy" or "Quackers" also came out occasionally".
  • ore( the Eevee was referred to as "Oreo" or "Oreon".
  • 01QQQRTᶻzᶻz↗ the Infernape was referred to as "Monke" by the chat, which became an Ascended Meme when it was renamed to "MONKE".
  • STPPBWG the Meganium was usually referred to as "Step Bug".
  • JOmJFrOIDe the Rotom received nicknames such as "Joe's Fridge", "Jom Froid", "John J. Froid", "Jom J. Froide", and basically every combination of those one can think of.
• Funny Moments:
  • The first full party was composed of Turtwig, Chimchar, Piplup (all three received from Prof. Rowan), Eevee (recevied from Mom), and two Bidoof. Several players wanted to deposit Eevee and at least one of the Bidoof, thus Eevee was placed in the first slot to make sure it would be the first Pokémon deposited or released. That plan went completely wrong as the ensuing PC shuffle instead resulted in everything being deposited except Eevee.
  • The team had their Poké Balls decorated with Capsules in order to prevent their release, triggering a custom animation when they entered the battle. Magcargo had the letters "XD" show up, while Infernape had the letters "DK" instead.
  • Rotom, who was used most of the time in its Fridge form, was named "JOmJFrOIDe". As pointed out by many people in the chat, this is extremely appropriate moniker as "froid" means "cold" in French. "JFrOID" can even be phonetically read as "j'ai froid", aka "I am cold".
    • It was also equipped with a Magnet, making it a fridge magnet.
  • Among the few Shiny Pokémon that actually got caught was a Shiny Graveler named AJ. It got released.
  • When facing Mewtwo, the chat spammed the "reuse" command, which automatically presses the section of the touchscreen for reusing the last item used. It's usually an easy shorthand for spamming Poké Balls, but at that moment, the last item used was actually a Poké Doll instead, which caused Kr to immediately flee from the battle.

• Memetic Mutation: trust me eevee is postgame and we should absolutely never check at any point in the game cuz it'll be a waste of time ^Explanation An Eevee is visible in the player's house and can be obtained very early on by coming back to check it after obtaining a starter, prompting this sarcastic statement to get copy-pasted in the chat by players who didn't want to deal with yet another Eevee.
