Seriously, this is a guy who suffered horrible things in the concentration camps (having his leg broken and re-set repeatedly was the least of it), became a spy even though the job terrifies him, wants nothing more than to live in peace, but has no choice but to go out and fight the secret war. To top it all off, once he finally meets the woman who heals him and teaches him love, she is taken from him almost immediately- yet he goes on anyway, because it's all he has left.
• Jerkass Woobie: Yasif Hassan is ready to torture and kill in revenge for the Jews taking over Palestine, where he didn't actually live for years in any case.
