- Tear Jerker: The film version of Jim's reaction to learning Silver's true identity and intentions is rather heart-wrenching. With the poor boy shedding tears as he explains what he had learned to the caption and the others. Especially since this was just after poor Jim had offered Sliver a place to live at his own house after the voyage.
