- Hilarious in Hindsight: Last Bot Standing was initially hyped up as IDW's final story for the Transformers until they lost the license at the end of 2022. It came to the surprise of many that Shattered Glass II ended up becoming IDW's last story with the Transformers.
- Unexpected Character: Flamewar being both the last reveal of the SG collectible line and spotlight character in the comic series. Not only did she not exist in any previous SG media, she still maintained her normal universe deco (inspired by her BotCon 2014 toy) and IDW appearances.
