• Funny Moments:
  • When Gozer invades Cybertron, it does the usual "pick the form of your destruction" bit and plucks one from the mind of Starscream. What form would Starscream instinctively think of that would be scary and powerful enough to destroy a planet? Unicron? Megatronus Prime? The Swarm? The Planet Buster? Nope, it's...himself, wearing the crown from the movie, with the Matrix of Leadership and the heads of his enemies as a necklace. There's an ego for ya.◊ Even funnier is that Megatron's immediate response to seeing a form Starscream imagined up for Gozer that would let it destroy Cybertron is to fire a Fusion Cannon blast at the original Seeker in rage.
    Megatron: Starscream—you will pay for this!
  • Before this, Shockwave is the first one to realize that Starscream is somehow responsible for what's about to come, and he's drawn in such a way that despite being The Faceless Cyber Cyclops, he's clearly viewing Starscream with a scolding, parental condescension. And Starscream immediately responds like a kid who's been caught doing something naughty.
    Shockwave: Starscream - what did you do.
    Starscream: Nothing!
  • Optimus' response when he learns that Ectronymous Diamatron is now going by the nickname of "Ectotron"? An exasperated "Oh, thank Primus". Yeah, even Optimus was getting sick of the Full-Name Basis with this guy.
  • When Ectotron was unable to respond due to helping out the Ghostbusters with catching an electric ghost, Optimus decided to wait for him by transforming into a truck and taking a rest in the alley. However, he would eventually end up being spotted by two punks who would decide to spray-paint him with graffiti, which was still present when Optimus caught up with Ectotron and others.
    Optimus: Yes. Apparently, some of your kind saw fit to decorate me while I was waiting.
  • Peter and Ectotron discuss the nature of robots in disguise:
    Peter: Let me ask you something - is it weird we were riding around inside you a minute ago?
    Ectotron: Let's... just agree to never speak of it.
    Peter: Fair.
  • Peter and Optimus have an amusing exchange.
    Peter: Shame you can't, y'know, shrink.
    Optimus: Actually, some of us can modify our size. There was a powerful Decepticon who could transform into a handheld weapon. I accidentally stepped on him once and set off a thousand years of war.
    Peter: Is that—really?
    Optimus: No, not really. But it certainly wouldn't have helped matters.
    Peter: ...you're a funny guy, Prime.
• Just Here for Godzilla: Two of the biggest hits of 1984 side-by-side in a story that isn't fan content. That's generally the main draw for this miniseries as a whole.
