  • Demonic Spider: Among the myriad annoyances the cheating AI throws at you, several particular types of players stand out:
    • Enemy players with no-delay shots will fire them off as soon as they get the ball. Most of the time, despite these shots being weak in most cases, your GK will be weaker and they will score over and over and over...
    • Erich and Rinnosuke. On top of Game-Breaker shots and stats, there are few ways of preventing these particular annoyances from scoring.
  • Ho Yay: Erich and Rinnosuke's Fundoshi Barrier. Heck, it even has the same animation as Saigyou Barrier.
  • Les Yay: Look at the cinematic for Yukari and Yuyuko's Saigyou Barrier.
  • Game-Breaker:
    • In Travel Mode, Tewi. Her passive ability multiplies the money you bring in per match, as long as she takes the field. This really adds up quickly, enabling the player to accumulate a very strong roster very quickly. It also helps that she useful character, boasting a practically unblockable special pass. Furthermore, a player can acquire her in the team selection process before Travel mode even begins.
    • Rinnosuke and Erich. Stats dwarfing practically every other characters. Shots that score on anything short of the Infinity +1 SGGK. Though lacking in special techniques, who needs them if basic commands outperform other characters' techniques on a consistent basis? Though, the catch is you need to clear Travel Mode at least 3 and 4 times respectively to unlock them, which means you're going to have to face them and SGGK Letty again and again (and again).
    • SGGK Letty, the best Goalkeeper in the game bar none, which has a save that essentially guarantees saves against all but one of the special shots in the entire game. It is possible for her to appear on the shop near the end of Travel Mode, but she's so expensive (tied with Elrich as the most expensive player to purchase) that you probably won't be able to afford to hire her.
  • Heartwarming Moments: The Lilys' scenario, where all the characters whom they've been helping in the other scenarios arrive to help them out because they feel indebted to them (that, and they're very much against Rinnosuke and Erich's plan to make everyone wear fundoshis).
  • Memetic Mutation:
    • She kicked the ball! FOUL! Explanation 
    • Indestructible ball Explanation 
    • Congratulations, you scored a goal! And killed 75% of the world's population! Explanation 
  • That One Attack: A lot of special techniques from specific characters are particularly annoying or really difficult to stop and will often cost you a goal:
    • Xanadu's Last Judgement. It's the strongest of the "no-delay" shots, strong enough that only some of the best goalkeepers can stop it with their special saves. Of course, the AI will abuse the hell out of it against your own goalkeeper, shooting it from way far just before halfway of the field. Even in1P vs 2P matches, or COM vs COM matches where both players submit their Travel mode team and have the computer automatically control both teams, it can be seen as really annoying for the opposing player on the receiving end of this towards their goal. A good demonstration of how big is the issue can be found in Asprey Archives video of AI-simulated tournament here, where a lot of the submitted teams for the tournament include Xanadu in their lineup.
    • Tewi's Ancient Duper and Sakuya's Misdirection are nigh-unstoppable even for the standards of special Passes and Tackles respectively. The former has only a cost of 100 Guts (not that it matters to the computer anyway). Both of these can even potentially get past Rinnosuke and Elrich's ridiculously high stats.
    • Cirno's Facial Icicle Fall combination with Letty would also count as it's the most powerful interception in player against player matches that is essentially unstoppable if the opponent decides to pass (it even can trump out Tewi's Ancient Duper!) and even can stop dribbles and some shoot attempts, but an AI-controlled Cirno will never use this, instead going for the regular Facial Icicle Fall regardless of whether there is Letty in the same team as her (or not).
    • While Yukari's regular Quadruple Barrier save is pretty powerful but sometimes can be overcomed with really strong special shots, and cannot be used on 1-on-1 situations, her other save, the Saigyou Barrier (which can be used if Yuyuko is in the same team) is nigh-impossible to get past through due to being a stronger version of the previous save, except it can even be used in 1-on-1 shot attempts. It even can stop some of the strongest shots in the game! And you'd better be prepared to find a way to get past this in the EX match of the Story Mode.
    • Reimu's Fantasy Heaven, on the few times the computer actually uses it against you. The computer, in fact, prioritizes this over any of her otherwise weaker special shots (because it doesn't use guts as the cheating computer). It's strong enough to beat almost any goalkeeper (except for the overpowered one), and on a rare occasion of one-on-one, it's an essentially guaranteed conceded goal.
    • The SGGK move, used by the final Travel Mode opponent team's goalkeeper. It'll stop any shot that you try to use against, outside of 1-on-1 situations. Yes, even Reimu's Fantasy Heaven will not get past it (unless the goalkeeper is completely unbalanced).
    • There's also the combination shot Fundoshi Barrier by Rinnosuke and Elrich, and unlike Reimu's Fantasy Heaven, it's so Purposefully Overpowered to the point that they can even overcome even SGGK Letty's own special save.
