• Alternative Character Interpretation: Despite Geoff and DJ being the teammates he gets along with, Duncan chooses to pair up with Harold and Sadie, two teammates of his he dislikes, as his canoe partners. Was it because Duncan wanted to bully Harold so he "invited himself" knowing that Harold and Sadie wouldn't tell him off? Was it because he felt they were the weakest members of the Killer Bass and wanted to ensure they didn't screw up the challenge? Was it because he was worried that, given how Harold and Sadie were the outsiders of the team by that point, they would team up and strategize together, so he decided to get in their way to prevent any potential alliance between the two? Or perhaps a mix of the three?
• Unintentionally Unsympathetic: Despite him deciding to help set Gwen up with Trent, Cody asking Gwen for one of her bras to win a bet would not have only been considered extremely offensive and perverted back then, but much worse nowadays, especially since the rise of the #MeToo movement due to Harvey Weinstein's sexual assault allegations in 2017. If Cody had tried to do that today, Gwen would have likely told everyone about his pervertedness and had him voted off. This all makes it a lot harder to view him in a positive light.
