• Alternative Character Interpretation:
  • Did Chris genuinely hype Priya up as the winner of the previous season? Or did he just want to put a target on her back exactly for that reason?
  • Was Scary Girl's attempt at being normal just a way to keep from being an early boot again? Or was she genuinely trying to bond with the other contestants, but is so fundamentally warped that she didn't fully get why everyone was so afraid of her.
  • Was Bowie annoyed at Raj asking him to choose Wayne on his team because he genuinely didn't want him on the team or did he just want more time to make a more strategic pick and planned to pick Wayne at some point? His support of Wayne in the finale and their overall friendship does imply the latter.
  • Why exactly did Bowie pick Chase of all people for his team despite disliking him the previous season? Was it due to a case of Keeping the Enemy Close and intending to vote him out early with Raj and Wayne's help the same way he intended for Julia? Or is it possible that in spite of their fallout last season, Bowie still cares enough about Emma to not want her to compete on the same team as Chase after she dumped him for good and only choose him due to Priya beating him to picking Emma?
  • Why did Priya pick Emma of all people as her second pick despite having little to no interaction with her the previous season? Was it due to her realizing there was a chance Bowie would pick Emma to be on his team and reconcile with her due to Emma realizing he was right about what a jerk Chase is, which would give him control on half his team's votes (between him, Emma, Raj, and Wayne) and wanting to weaken Bowie's control on the game by depriving him of a potential ally? Or was she aiming to form a girls alliance with Emma due to her being a strong player?
• Ass Pull:
  • Even though he didn't move, Zee gets eliminated from the challenge because his soda was sizzling.
  • Despite his shockingly good run, Chase is eliminated in the challenge because of Toon Physics.
• Badass Decay: After coming up with an idea to save his teammates' lives in "Jurassic Fart'' and thus regaining his will to compete, Damien is back to being a Nervous Wreck scared of everything. Granted he is still more willing to try and compete rather than come up with ways to get eliminated like last time and justified by how one heroic act won't automatically make his Nervous Wreck tendencies go away that quick.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: Upon reuniting with her for the first time, Emma ignores Nichelle, claiming there's no point in befriending her since she'll likely be eliminated first anyway. Emma is then eliminated an episode prior to Nichelle. Another layer of Irony comes from Emma actually turning out to be right, Nichelle does end up eliminated early again, though granted, this is because Julia tricks her into quitting the competition.
