• Hilarious in Hindsight:
  • In this episode, the players infiltrate Area 51. In mid-July of 2019, memes about civilians storming Area 51 became prominent across the Internet (and then, in September, it actually happened in real life.)
  • Before he takes the Drop of Shame, Tyler asks if there will be a re-vote. In the 2023 season, Chris would actually let the contestants do a re-vote in one episode to eliminate Zee when the latter’s plan to get everyone to vote Chris out fails.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: Rather than leaving here, many fans wish that Tyler had stayed in the game and made it to the merge given how he didn't reach it in Island. However, just like Noah two episodes ago, Tyler ends up being booted in favor of Duncan's return, which is yet another reason several fans hated Duncan's return in World Tour, as they feel that Duncan's return prevented Noah and Tyler from making it far and receive much more Character Development (though Noah later got another shot at this in Total Drama Presents: The Ridonculous Race).
