- Alternate Character Interpretation: Regarding Sensei, particularly in his last match against Hampa, and how an offhand comment about all of his joints being healed after a match reveals that his supposed Career-Ending Injury wasn't all that bad. Did he retire because of that broken knee, did he retire out of shame, or did he have his fight against Hampa and subsequent retirement planned in advance, wishing to teach newer students how to fight without the worry of fighting other opponents himself?
- Crazy Is Cool: Ludicrous moves can be carried out, thanks to limbs working on their own. One of the included replays shows Tori tearing off his own arm and throwing it at Uke. The arm grips onto Uke's head with its hand and beats him to death with the other end.
- Scrappy Mechanic: Shoveling, a technique used in the wrestling gamemodes because it's grabbing the opponent's core and basically being able to control them however they like. It's frowned upon in nearly every server outside of the low-rank establishments, and even then a user will get yelled at.
