• Memetic Mutation: This episode (or rather, the "Torchwood Declassified" episode that focused on behind the scenes) started the meme: "Here comes Jack in a great big tractor, here he comes in a ruddy great tractor". This is a Mondegreen Gag of the Leitmotif heard in "Captain Jacks Theme" (and later "Tractor Attack") that Ben Foster based off of a scene in this episode (Jack storming in to save his team on a tractor), and made a specific variant of the tune for the episode. It is frequently quoted within the fandom, largely due to the inherently funny and badass visual, but also for how fitting it is.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: It might have been fascinating to see a cannibalism-themed episode of a Bloodier and Gorier Doctor Who spin-off revisit the lesser-known but highly macabre Androgums.
  • Not having Jack captured and/or killed. Imagine a village of cannibals discovering that their latest victim is an immortal who can heal from any wound...
