- Harsher in Hindsight: Ianto warning Jack that flirting with him constitutes sexual harassment. This became a lot less funny when you know that John Barrowman was infamous for exposing himself, something that was brought to light in 2021 when he got caught up in Noel Clarke's sexual misconduct allegations in 2021.
- Never Live It Down: Owen using alien drugs to make a couple have sex with him, essentially raping them.
