• Ensemble Dark Horse: Hagrid the Table, for its hilariously ridiculous concept even by the animation's already insane standards.
• Esoteric Happy Ending: While the ending is presented as a wholly positive moral about friendship, the three leads are all stuck in an empty, uninhabitable planet with no fuel for their spaceship and presumably no extra supplies.
• Heartwarming Moments: Despite being written by a robot, Charlie's confession at the end is truly quite sweet.
  Charlie: "The truth is that it was a big thing to eat with you... and it seemed to feel right. I’m full of ordinary sounding words, but when I say them, and you are there to hear them, all is well with everything."
  • Also, when Dexter is nervous about going into space, Harrison reassures him, gently patting on the shoulder.
  Dexter: I am not certain about the dark mystery beyond. It might be too dark for us.
  Harrison: It won't be... if we stick together.
• Spiritual Successor: Can be seen as one to Harry Potter and the Portrait of What Looked Like a Large Pile of Ash. Also made with the Botnik program and input from Harry Potter. It has similar elements, such as the main character dynamics, plot structure and names.
