- No Such Thing as Bad Publicity: The film wasn't very well known upon release, garnering a Vocal Minority of celebrity fans that pushed hard for an Academy Award campaign. This resulted in a Best Actress nomination for Andrea Riseborough that was controversially called into review by the Academy themselves (the nomination was not rescinded in the end), particularly since Danielle Deadwyler for Till and Viola Davis for The Woman King were seen as being snubbed. Despite this, or perhaps because of it, the film's notoriety skyrocketed, and still while no means a mainstream flick, viewership on sites like Letterboxd and IMDb increased exponentially.
