• Alternative Character Interpretation: The cashier in "My Dinner With Elmyra" very loudly tells the fry cook and the patrons what “this little boy's” order is. Was he unintentionally humiliating Monty in his attempt to follow the “service with a smile” policy? Or was this a deliberate act of passive-aggression? Considering Monty’s Jerkass nature, it’s not too far-fetched that he’s mistreated every member of staff at Weenie Burgers. The cashier could have seen that Monty was in an extremely embarrassing situation and trying not to be noticed. He then could have proceeded to humiliate the abusive brat with no repercussions.
