• Alternative Character Interpretation: Pretty much Timmy's thoughts on everyone.
• Crosses the Line Twice: Minnie the Magnificent treats Timmy no better than a common bully, but Timmy's skewed view of their exchanges being absolutely fine makes it this.
• Heartwarming Moments: Timmy and Molly dancing under the hotel sign at the end of the fourth book.
• Jerkass Woobie: Timmy. Granted, he's an egotistical and arrogant detective. But come on, the kid has no friends (minus his polar bear Total and his "best friend" Rollo), gets bad grades in school, is pestered and annoyed by Molly Moskins, a girl who loves him, and is considered "unusual" to his schoolmates and teachers.
• Moment of Awesome: The climax of the second book.
