• Awesome Music: Wildhoney is universally loved by fans.
• Broken Base:
  • Better backing female vocalist; Birgit Zacher, or one of the other later ones?
  • The older death metal fans versus the later gothic rock base can get testy at times as well.
• Epic Riff: "Whatever That Hurts" and "The Ar" are strong candidates.
• Genius Bonus: Their lyrics often reference Sumerian mythology as well as the works of Aleister Crowley and H. P. Lovecraft.
• Germans Love David Hasselhoff: While the band does well in their base of Sweden, they also have a massive fanbase in Germany, and most of their albums sold better there than in their home country.
• Growing the Beard: Many fans consider Wildhoney the point where the band truly hit the genre they were best with.
• They Changed It, Now It Sucks!: They moved away from death metal and experimented with their sound, introducing elements of non-metal music. Naturally, some people don't like the direction they took - though everyone agrees that Wildhoney is awesome.
• Tough Act to Follow: None of the band's works after Wildhoney received anywhere near the same amount of acclaim, although some are still well regarded.
