• Awesome Music: The string quartet cover of Bon Iver's "Skinny Love" at the end is bone-chillingly beautiful. So soft and delicate in a moment where Jim is affirmed that, yes, things will start to get better for him and his daughter.
• Crosses the Line Twice: Arnauld's exchange with his freshly deceased ex-wife is pretty damn heartbreaking. Then he slaps her corpse.
• Diagnosed by the Audience: Arnaud is socially awkward and extremely ill-equipped to handle his emotions, to the point that he draws his firearm during an argument.
• Signature Scene: The beautifully shot opening funeral scene, especially considering it's a recreation of the astounding short with only a few modifications.
