• Game-Breaker:
  • A wizard with one of the 'Kanji' spells and high Ki-leech, can wipe out an entire army single-handed, by casting destructive spells without worrying of ever running out of Ki.
  • If you're playing as the Oda clan you can complete an optional Side Quest that rewards you with the unique Kagetora's Armor. High AC, low enough strength requirements that even the Squishy Wizard can (eventually) manage, and more room for components than any other armor (see Item Crafting below). With careful use of components and a mere 100.000+ gold, you can give the Wizard armor that doubles his Ki and gives 100% Ki-leech. With that you can cast a Kanji spell that takes a mere fraction of your magic reserves, and immediately restores half of it as it hits every enemy on screen. For even more brokenness, cast the Ki Shield spell so that incoming damage hits Ki rather than Health, even if you have no Ki left. Watch in awe as your invincible Wizard drinks a Ki potion and starts blasting away again. You can, if you're so inclined, also duplicate items using an exploit, and give your entire team Kagetora's Armor, which are exactly as good for them as the one above is for the Wizard.
  • There is the Kobara, one of the two unique items that will always drop in the Cave of the Hojo Clan. Not as good as Kagetora's armor, but it is available to all clans, has almost as many component slots, very few requirements, and provides far more defense than other armor of its class.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: The Tokugawa clan Berserker is named Hijikata Toshizo. Cue Fate/Grand Order, where Hijikata Toshizo (the real guy, as far as the Nasuverse is concerned) can be summoned as a Berserker.
