YMMV / This Book Is Full of Spiders: Seriously, Dude, Don't Touch It

• Ho Yay: When Dave mentions John accidentally sent a photo of his genitals to him twice, Amy implies that maybe it wasn't accidental.
• Tear Jerker: John's eulogy for Molly.
• Too Bleak, Stopped Caring: The book is noticeably darker in its view of humanity than either the original or this one’s sequel, and outright makes John into far more of a morose Sad Clown (albeit when he's at his breaking point). It can be difficult to see the humor through that, and this is one of the most common critiques.
