- Base-Breaking Character: Tempus is either seen as a badass and conflicted Anti-Hero or as a horrible cold blooded killer and an invincible Creator's Pet.
- Hilarious in Hindsight: Tempus Thales' canonical hatred for wizards becomes quite amusing after watching the Counter Monkey episode on Thieves World where he puts Sanctuary through Hell in order to get revenge on the clumsy wizard that threw a flask of acid on his face.
