• Heartwarming Moments: After his big Skids video ended on a somewhat depressing note, one can only imagine how happy he was when a Masterpiece Skids was announced.
  • Basically, anytime he gets thrown a bone by the toyline; from a brand new Battletrap toy to a new G2 Megatron, it's always nice to see how giddy he gets.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: Several times.
  • He once described a black Megatron as being from an alternate timeline where he's 'even eviler'. Fast forward a few years, and Cyberverse would do this exact idea, which he commented on in a video on Megadrive Megatron.
    Thew: So... not only am I in Cyberverse, but also... I wrote it?
  • Him describing a third-party Skids as the closest thing to a Masterpiece Skids we'd get, only for an actual Masterpiece Skids to get announced shortly after the video went live.
  • His Siege Megatron review had him joking about the idea of a G2-style repaint... only for the Earthrise figure to receive that.
• Memetic Mutation: Due to both being widely known amongst the Transformers fandom as boisterously bearded brohemians, and their strangely similar names (Matt Adams and Maccadam), it is a common joke to say that Thew is actually Maccadam from Transformers: Cyberverse. It’s to the point where Thew’s official TFWiki.net page even includes a “you look familiar…” redirect link to Maccadam’s page.
