• Accidental Aesop:
  • The tragedy of Amy gives one. If you center all of your energy and being on just one person you love, then you will not have a life to live outside them. If you want to move on and find true love, you have to move on from people who don't deserve your attention. If Amy had know that then maybe she would have had a happy ending.
  • The story of Knuckles has quite a few:
    • Do not rush things, especially by yourself. Sonic became the current Titan because he was not satisfied with a stalemate and decided just end things at Baron Robotnik’s castle instead of making sure that the others can handle the Titan without him first, resulting in him being manipulated into becoming the new Titan. His allies couldn’t fill the gap he left behind which resulted in the current situation. Even if it is to stop any more collateral deaths, all he did was just ensuring even more deaths to follow with his impatience.
    • As Knuckles learns, just because a Jerkass Has a Point, they're still a Jerkass. Knuckles isn't wrong when he berates the others for their screwups, as one mistake could kill EVERYONE. However, the way he goes about it just causes more problems than they fix.
    • Have multiple ways of communication available. Relying on only one is asking for trouble if it fails. Knuckles mainly slammed the emerald shard on himself and became another Titan because his smashed communications prevented him from seeing and hearing Amy getting through to the Sonic Titan.
    • Make sure you didn't forget anything important, especially when you are in an emotional rush. The Cruel Twist Ending happened because the heroes got distracted by Sonic's recovery and forgot to secure the Chaos Emerald shards after Titan Knuckles' first defeat while thinking that they killed him. This window allowed him to fully implant the second shard. If some of them went to secure them from Titan Knuckles' supposed corpse while Amy focused on Sonic, the tragedy that followed may have been avoided.
  • In general this parody is a reminder of the lessons learned from Sonic Frontiers, as Knuckles, Amy and Tails had to learn from a hard hand that being attached to Sonic only will slow down their potential and make them stuck in his shadow forever, without the awareness their worst flaws (Amy's obsession, Knuckles desire to out best him and Tails's admiration) became their entire character to an unhealthy level only because they didn't move and did more with their lives.
• Alternative Character Interpretation:
  • Tails recruiting Amy in "There's Something About Amy". Was it his plan all along and he orchestrated things to reach that point? Was he actually planning to kill Amy but she proved more dangerous than he anticipated so he had to think on his feet? Is he just so insane that he honestly didn't think Amy would react as badly as she did? The fact he seemed to plan for Amy to discover the original Tails' corpse just makes it even more unclear about what he's planning. The fourth part at least shows that he's afraid enough of Amy to not overextend his control of her, knowing that she can very easily overpower and kill him if she wants.
  • Another one for Tails is just why he arranged for Sonic's death, especially after he professes how he doesn't see the Sonic of this universe as the "Real Sonic". Is he just such a Yandere that he can't stand the thought of any Sonic being close to someone other than him? Did he want this Sonic dead for not being the real one? Was his death just part of a larger plan to bring Amy over to Tails side? Was it just For the Evulz?
  • Did Amy really fall for Tails talk of finding the "Real Sonic" or is she just playing along so she can get revenge on Tails in a more satisfying manner than just killing him? Or is a midpoint between the two where she knows that she shouldn't trust Tails by this point but she's too tempted by the thought of finding another Sonic to heed common sense, with it being possible that she will turn on Tails if he upsets her enough. Tails himself knows not to take her alliance for granted, as he notes that he doesn't want to be on the receiving end of her newfound insanity.
• Complete Monster: Baron Robotnik is Sonic's mortal enemy who wishes to destroy Sonic's village and all his friends. Seeking the power of the Chaos Emerald, Robotnik embraced the power of the Emerald and turned himself into the monstrous Titan, which attacks the city for years, causing massive casualties. Manipulating Sonic's goodwill, Robotnik tricks Sonic into transferring the Emerald's powers into him, ending in his own death but spitefully having Sonic continue his mission, as the crystals transform Sonic into the monstrous Titan, trapping Sonic inside with no way out as he is forced to attack the city and his friends.
• Love to Hate: Secret History Tails is a heartless bastard for what he did to poor Amy, but many can't help but find him darkly fascinating for how deranged and psychotic he truly is. The fact that he's much more intelligent, manipulative, and cunning than he appears to be pushes this further.
• Nightmare Fuel: The version of Sonic from There's Something About Knuckles transforming into the Titan that now continuously attacks the city and his friends.
• She Really Can Act:
  • Eileen "EileMonty" Montgomery's can be praised for her performance as the mentally broken pink hedgehog in the "There's Something About Amy" series, especially in the second episode. Her performance as Tails throughout the entire series is also worth mentioning, showing the range the fox is capable off without going Secret History mode, and she also managed to make the sentence "What are friends for?" chilling.
  • RicanFly is praised for his performance as the titular character of the "There's Something About Knuckles" series, capturing his various emotions of turmoil, anger, trauma and sadness of a person who is in over his head, desperately filling the shoes left behind by his predecessor.
• Shocking Moments: While it was fairly obvious from the beginning that something is off with Tails, not many were expecting him to be a Tails from another universe who killed his alternate self to take his place and almost no one was expecting him to be the Tails from Secret History.
• Unexpected Character: Secret History Tails being in this series came across as a massive shock to many.
