• Heartwarming Moments: In spite of the tense partnership they've had since they met, and openly brawling in the previous episode, Mr X's final action before his death is to point Mulder in the direction of a new informant. Mulder even refers to him posthumously to this new informant as having been a friend. Hearkening back to their first interaction when Mulder was at his lowest point:
  X: "Mr Mulder, I think you should know... you have a friend at the FBI."
