- Alternative Character Interpretation:
- When the leader of the Satanic Temple tells the Witchfinder General that his God doesn't seem terribly loving, is he put into Stunned Silence because he can't comprehend such a blasphemous statement or because he realizes there might be a kernel of truth to it?
- Later, when describing the plot of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, filtered through his perspective, the Witchfinder General insists that Albus Dumbledore is actually the Elizabethan occultist John Dee, that Voldemort is literally “the two-faced prince of darkness” Satan, and that Ron and Hermione are actually servants Harry has gained through the practice of witchcraft.
