- Alternative Character Interpretation: Fringilla's insistence during the meeting with the Brotherhood that Nilfgaard's fight is with Cintra and only with Cintra. Were she and the Nilfgaardian army really planning to stop at Cintra and found themselves having to push forward when Ciri escaped their clutches? Or did they always plan to move forward regardless and she was lying through her teeth?
