- Harsher in Hindsight: In late 2019 and early 2020, James and Mason lamented not being able to do more 'topic episodes' since there's always a new movie coming out to cover. Soon enough, the COVID-19 outbreak happened and they were forced to do only topic episodes, since practically every theatrical release they planned on covering was delayed.
- Hilarious in Hindsight:
- When talking about the Ultimate Nullifier, they pitch Reed Richards threatening people with the Nullifier for extremely petty reasons. This becomes even funnier come Deadpool #280* , when Deadpool uses the Nullifier the exact same way.*
- This video, where they predict that Deadpool would, at most, gross about as much as Kingsman: The Secret Service. Cue Deadpool becoming one of the highest-grossing R-rated movies of all time.
- In 2015 James jokingly showed interest in seeing the Polkadot Man in the DC Extended Universe. Flashforward to 2020 and he's announced to be in The Suicide Squad.
- In one of their Hawkeye episode breakdowns James speculated that The Kingpin, as played by Vincent D'Onofrio might show up in the series as the Big Bad, but James, being James referred to him as "Vinny D", to which Mason responded with "Vin Diesel?". In the final episode of the series, the Kingpin pleads for his life to Maya because they're family. Guess which actor has a popular meme about families associated with them.
- Memetic Mutation:
- Claiming that an actor was almost played by Michael Joseph Jackson, as originated by this video.
- Citing "Corn of Coblin" as one of Spider-Man's greatest enemies, originating as a joke from this video.
- Christopher Kenobi's image of Pooh greeting Ewan McGregor but as Grievous and General Kenobi respectively has circulated image boards so much that many don't know it's from the video, or even from any video at all and think it's a stand-alone photoshop.
- James' "Blue Harvest" Running Gag on the Caravan of Garbage episodes quickly spread to the comment sections of all of his videos, with commenters often making "fun facts" about a certain movie/show being discussed that quickly devolve into them having the working title of "Blue Harvest".
- Tear Jerker: The death of listener Josh Murch, wherein the boys discuss it and the whole situation and family statement in an almost completely serious manner. James legitimately sounds like he's on the verge of tears.
