YMMV / The Walking Dead: Rick Grimes 2000

• Angst? What Angst?: Rick takes his wife coming back to life, pulling a gun on him, and then getting Eaten Alive pretty well, to say nothing about the fact that aliens have taken over the Earth.
• Funny Moments: The alien in Issue 2, after killing Lori by eating her alive, gleefully tells Rick that they could easily revive her but won't because he's being so unreasonable.
  • Rick tenses up when he sees Martinez again since he ran him over with a bus and then strangled him to death, but Martinez just shrugs it off, admitting that he was going to bring the Governor back to the prison and he did the right thing...although he still found it anyway, making Rick murdering him pointless, before admitting that he has mixed feelings about the whole thing.
• It's Short, So It Sucks!: Maybe sucks is a little harsh, but because the chapters were published in a 5 issue mini-series, the story doesn't have time to grow. Almost all of the fighting takes place in the final 2 issues, with issues 1-3 mostly being exposition (the bulk of issue 1 is just the original story in color, pretty much), and the main conflict is resolved over the course of 3 pages.
