• Aluminum Christmas Trees: What's a TV repairman? ^note It's what the guy that fixes your computer would have done before there were computers.
• Narm: Between the crazy soundtrack, the weird and awkward sound effects, and the slapstick moments, along with Phyllis' exaggerated scream as she falls to her death. The final fight between Joe and Phyllis is so remarkably over the top, it can't be taken seriously. The TV repairman averts this, being completely unsettling.
• One-Scene Wonder: The TV repairman is only at the start and end of the episode, but he is incredibly creepy and unsettling in this mostly goofy episode.
• Retroactive Recognition: The TV repairman played by Sterling Holloway is unsettling as-is. But he speaks with Winnie the Pooh's voice, making him even more unsettling. Or perhaps you had an idea of what was coming if you also recognized him as Kaa.
