YMMV / The Trojan War Will Not Take Place

Go To

  • Heartwarming Moments: The relationship between Hector and Andromache.
    • Odysseus when he states the real reason why he goes all the way to help Hector avoid war. It turns out that Andromache has a way of using her eyelids that reminds him of Penelope. Too bad his efforts came too late.
  • Moment of Awesome: Ajax tries to provoke Hector into a fistfight, and thus set off the war. Hector gains his respect by sheer willpower by not giving in to any taunts Ajax throws at him. Frustrated, Ajax ends this by slapping Hector on the cheek - which is considered a grave insult. Hector does not blink at all, and shrugs it off. Then, Ajax tries to use Andromache against Hector by sarcastically pointing out that his wife surely is proud of being married to such a coward. Hector answers simply: "I know her. She is proud!" After that, Ajax sees Hector as a Worthy Opponent.
