• Spiritual Successor: To another French Fish out of Temporal Water comedy with characters from the past time-travellling to modern-day (from less than ten years before it came out), Les Visiteurs (and its 1998 sequel). It can even be seen as a Spiritual Antithesis to Les Visiteurs, since the latter's two protagonists are Medieval Morons while The Three Wise Men here were indeed wise and educated in the time they come from.
