• Bizarro Episode: An inverted example. While the rest of the anthology shorts involve fantastic situations and standard genre tropes, The Accident is a dramatic story that deals with a mother and daughter discussing the nature of life and death after witnessing a fatal traffic accident. Many reviewers comment that the short feels out of place in a horror anthology largely about villainous characters, but also regard it as the best of the anthology, giving it a much needed heart.
• Nausea Fuel: Despite the bloody and gory contents of the movie, Greg's rancid lifestyle and obsessive candy binge-eating in "Sweets" somehow manages to feel more stomach-turning to some.
