• Awesome Music: The Japanese opening and ending theme are great to listen to, courtesy of Keiko Han.
  • The American opening theme is pretty good as well.
• Cult Classic: This show is fondly-remembered in the United States.
• Values Dissonance:
  • Mrs. Robinson physically punishing Becca for wandering off and getting lost on the island. This was edited out of the English dub for obvious reasons, but not in the Latin American Spanish dub (and likely other dubs), as it was dubbed from the Japanese footage.
  • Also Ms. Robinson mentioning how she got married to her husband at the age of 17 when he was 28.
