- Awesome Music: Nico Audy-Rowland and Jeff Williams, under the name "The Uggos", deliver some fun music for the soundtrack, such as the catchy theme song "Crazy Zoo" and the supposed Grief Song "Bye Nikki Bye".
- Hilarious in Hindsight: Comments made during The Reveal about how "Hollywood had completely run out of ideas" eerily predict how modern Hollywood has become a flood of reboots, remakes and adaptations.
- Retroactive Recognition: The soundtrack features Jeff Williams, who would later do music for Red vs. Blue and RWBY. Jeff's daughter Casey, later the main vocalist for RWBY, sang a verse in one song as well.
- Unexpected Character: Very last line of Season 2, Episode 3 gives us... Ray Narvaez Jr.?!
- Unintentional Period Piece: While the first season's first few episodes could have arguably taken place anywhere at any time, from the sixth episode onwards, a good chunk of its humor and plot revolved around parodies of shows that were on the air during the mid-2000s. The fact that Lost was spoofed but Heroes was ignored dates the miniseries even more to early 2006. The American Idol, Desperate Housewives, CSI: Miami, and Alias jokes seal the deal that this show could only have been made from 2004-2006, three years shy of the release date for The Sims 3.
