- More Popular Spin-Off: "Wun'erful, Wun'erful", an adaptation of the Lawrence Welk sketch first done here, became a hit for Freberg when he released it as a single.
- Too Good to Last: CBS signed Freberg hoping that he could draw audiences away from TV, but his humor was a little too unconventional to attract mainstream success. With middling ratings and lack of a sponsor the show only lasted 15 episodes.
