• Crosses the Line Twice: The veterinarian failing to save a hamster is definitely sad. Disposing of the hamster by throwing it in a trash bin with a basketball hoop attached? Funny.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: When the police are called, presumably from someone who dialed 9-1-1, Chief Wiggum hangs up after telling the caller that his department's number is 9-1-2. In the season 6 episode "Homer the Great", 9-1-2 is revealed to be the real emergency phone number, available to Stonecutters only. Even better, Wiggum is one of the Stonecutters.
