• Awesome Moments: While they gripped the Villain Ball in dancing to celebrate their impending victory, Maggie still gets a moment when she effortlessly decapitates Sideshow Bob, The Leprechaun, The Rigelian, and even Frank Grimes' ghost.
  • Bart's battle with the brainwashed fighters acting on Homer's command has a few decent stunts, mixed in with Black Comedy that befits the segment's Tuxedo and Martini parody.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: The narration at the beginning of the first segment compared the drought gripping Springfield to the one endured by the Chicago Cubs... who won the World Series a couple of weeks later.
• Nightmare Fuel: Rachel's first murder in "BFF R.I.P.", where she sets Flanders' lawn mower onto Janey. Made even worse by the Gory Discretion Shot and Lisa's horrified reaction.
  Lisa: Why? Why did my best friend have to die?
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: The team up of Simpsons antagonists, including the popular Frank Grimes, was a cool idea unfortunately given a short running time due to being a 1 minute intro sketch rather than a 7 minute long segment.
  • The IGN review openly bemoaned the fact the last two segments felt constrained by the seven-minute time-frame.
