• Hilarious in Hindsight: The episode focuses on a character who was never before mentioned but is implied to have had a significant role in all of Springfield's major events, even appearing in stills from past episodes hanging out with the Simpson family. In January 2021 a meme spread about a forgotten Simpsons character named Gumbly (aka "Graggle" or "Crazy Matt") that was also allegedly in all the past episodes and was photoshopped into screencaps.
