YMMV / The Simpsons S24E2 "Treehouse of Horror XXIII"

• Fridge Horror: While Maggie has certainly proven herself to be tough, she's still a baby left all alone by the end of the black hole story.
• Harsher in Hindsight: Bart shoving Mrs. Krabappel inside of the black hole in "The Greatest Story Ever Holed" segment. It is very unsettling to watch the scene now not only because Marcia Wallace, Edna's voice actress, passed away in October of 2013 and thus Edna was retired from the series out of respect (and was later revealed to have died), but because her passing occurred almost exactly one year after this episode premiered (18 days later to be precise).
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: Homer encountering several versions of his counterparts across time and space would make a pretty hilarious and interesting segment by itself. Unfortunately, they only show up long enough to get curb-stomped by Bart and Artie, and then for a final gag where they force "Slave Homer" to take out the trash. However, this potential plot scenario would be utilized in the "Treehouse of Horror XXXI" segment "Into the Homerverse".
