• Signature Scene: Homer building the barbecue pit is generally considered one of the all-time funniest scenes in the whole show, and for some, Homer's Establishing Character Moment that happened ten years after the show started.
• Unintentionally Unsympathetic: Marge, who feels offended that Homer has so easily gotten into the art world despite how much painting was her thing and thus feels he's being selfish and uncaring about how his success is affecting her. This despite the fact that the last time Marge was ever shown painting was back in season 2 (the only time it was ever mentioned), that her paintings actually did win a few local awards and even received confirmation that Ringo Starr loved the portrait she sent him, and that she generally hasn't done any painting since, and Homer wholeheartedly supported her work. It's difficult to agree with Marge's unhappiness when she literally has done nothing with her painting in so long, so her jealousy towards Homer definitely comes across as her being spiteful when he doesn't deserve it.
