• Aluminum Christmas Trees: Many doubted the series existed until it was uploaded onto YouTube.
• Fridge Horror: Scrappy Doo was likely in the woods because he was concerned for his uncle and the Gang. Meaning despite being lost the Gang actually ran away from someone trying to help out of irritation at Scrappy. And assuming he isn't lost as well, how is Scrappy going to take his friends' implied deaths?
• Hilarious in Hindsight:
  • The later film Scooby-Doo! and the Witch's Ghost dealt with subject matter similar to the original film, but took it in a more traditional Scooby-style direction. And it featured people believing a witch was Not Evil, Just Misunderstood only for it to turn out that she was very much evil once her ghost was summoned, just like the original film's sequel.
  • "It's Shaggy! Like, nobody calls me Norville!" Nobody 'til Velma, that is.
• Memetic Mutation:
  • Daphne running through the woods became one.
  • The bit where Shaggy protests being referred to as "Norville" gained some traction in light of the aforementioned Velma.
• Take That, Scrappy!:
  • Like with most modern acknowledgements of Scrappy-Doo, Scooby's nephew is made the butt of the joke to pander to his detractors. The Gang wakes up to some noises, before hearing him shout "Puppy Power!" in the distance. They all proceed to run away screaming as far was possible.
  • In another shot, Velma and Daphne hear him and Daphne starts running like her life depending on it. Velma tells her it's just Scrappy-Doo, to which Daphne screams "I know! I KNOW!"
